My Home
Home is a safe place to eat and sleep. Home is where I can smell my dad’s brand-new candles burning in the living room.
Home is a place to sit down and sink into the couch while I’m watching hockey, and my bird is dive bombing my dog.
Home is a place where my stepdad is making fries and me and my sister are running through the kitchen to grab our iPads before dinner is ready.
After, we sit down I will rip into the salty, chewy fries and after I will play with my siblings for a long time.
Then I will go to my bed and drift off into my sleep.
Thank you, Habitat, for Humanity for finding homes for the people who don’t have one.
