Home
The meaning of home is not just a building, but a place and a feeling. It’s a place you can go to rest and think about the things you have done, whether they are good or bad. My Grandma always says that some people aren’t homeless, they are just houseless. The reason she says that is because their home is where they sleep for the night and wake up in the morning. The meaning of a home is a place that you can go and feel safe or some where you can talk to someone to solve your problems. A home is where you live whether that is out in the wild, in the women's shelter or in a mansion. I am fortunate enough to be able to live in a great house and I have people I can talk to. I know that some people aren’t as fortunate as me. Whenever I am driving around and see a houseless person my heart sinks, because I know that they deserve more and they need a place that isn't like a deep freeze in the winter. Home is a place where you can go to feel safe and warm inside. Home is my safe zone. The place where I can feel calm and upset all at the same time. Home is not a building. It is a feeling.
