Home Sweet Home

There are many homes, and all of them are different. Like a bird’s nest filled with little eggs getting ready to hatch. Or a farm with animals, tall crops, and lots of excitement. Like an old apartment filled with mysteries and memories. Or like a small house with a small backyard and a lot of fun and love. Like a treehouse in the rain forest and you wake up with your mom saying, “I love you”. Like a castle filled with rooms, hallways and a king and a queen. Or a bakery with donuts, cupcakes, and croissants. Or like a ship, if your home is a ship, you can take your home everywhere. Like an underground home for a Worm or a Fox. Or like a penthouse with lots of expensive things. Like a camper or a cabin. Like a light house or an old shed. Like a spaceship or a beehive. Or a big house or a building. Like a hay house or a beach house. A home can be many things but… My home is small and safe. My home is filled with love and kindness. My home is where I wait for my family at the dinner table, I’m always the first one there. My home is unique and special. Thank you, habitat, for humanity for your kindness to people around Canada who don’t have a home. Everyone needs a home sweet home.
