Home is a Feeling Not a Building
If home were a sight, I would see a beautiful rainbow on a sunny day when I'm walking to the bus stop. If home would be a smell, it would smell like my sister's hot chocolate on a cold, stormy, winter night. If I could hear my home, it would sound like my sister playing her piano beautifully throughout the house. If I could feel my home, I would feel my blanket covering me on a cold, chilly night. If home were a taste, I would taste my mother’s heavenly food on a gloomy day. This is what home means to me. Home is a place where you feel safe and comfortable. Many people do not have that and I'm glad Habitat for Humanity is making that more accessible to more families. Home does not necessarily have to be a building, it could be a car, tent, trailer, anything that makes you feel comfortable because remember home is a feeling not a building.
