Where I’m From By: Sophia I am from sucking ice on hot days on the deck with mom to baking with mom and my little sister Claire with me and dad taste testing; from eating baby carrot meals with dad and Claire to begging dad for delicious, mashed potatoes with gravy for dinner. I am , “ Hi Bored. I’m dad. Nice to meet you” to Baby Beluga at night to calm us down; from dad teasing me and playing board games with family to “Remember I always love you with, all my heart and soul”. I am from rocking Giant Baby to sleep and pretending to feed her to dancing to Taylor Swift with friends; from riding on the back of mom's bike to Harry's Foods to roller skating and biking to school in the summer. I am from jumping in puddles, blowing bubbles, and rainy-day walks to walking to the mailbox with Claire; from visiting the flower garden and picking wildflowers for mom to playing and splashing in the pool, building sand castles, and dad throwing me in the pool I am from waking mom and dad up at four in the morning on Christmas to homemade Christmas dinner with all my family; from always having pumpkin pie for breakfast after Thanksgiving to visiting Nana for sleepovers. I am home!
