Where I'm From

Where I’m From By: Avery I am from mom’s delicious homemade lasagna and dad’s potstickers to mom’s German meatballs and gravy plus yummy sushi; from avocados and tomato with baby carrots to dad’s barbequed chicken with cooked vegetables and smash burgers. I am from playing with Barbie dolls and my stuffed animals to tap dancing on Wednesday and jazz on Saturday; from playing outside with my neighbour and cat to reading Baby-Sitters-Club books and playing Roblox with my friends. I am from jumping on bouncy trampolines and playing in soaking wet puddles to frisbee in the yard on a warm summer day; from running around the garden while mom’s planting seeds to sleepovers with friends and biking to the mailbox and back. I am from playing in my basement with my little sister Holly to watching TV in the cozy living room with family; from drawing in my room and watching YouTube shorts to making a Lego village with every set we got for birthdays or Christmas. I am Home!
