What Home Means To Me
Some people may think home is just a building with a roof and walls, but did you know it’s actually way waaay more than that? My home is my family, and the memories made within. Home is where you take your first steps, and curious kids grow as their minds are strengthened. Sure, I’m grateful for the delicious homemade cookies we can make, and the shelter and water I have, but home is special for the people, my truly special people. You may not know it, but a legend is made in your home, and that legend is you. You make great ideas at home, and get smarter every day. Your unique personality and special self are built into an exceptional human. Home is where I can express myself and be the weird interesting kid I want to be. Friendships are created and bonds are made. Home can be a quiet, relaxing place, or be where the party’s at! Traditions are also an important part of my home. Every year, my beautiful family comes to visit and we open presents and eat a big breakfast on Christmas day. The memories and adventures made at home are priceless, and I would never give those up. Mistakes are made, and solutions are found. I may have to work hard, but I know I can do it. Even if some homes are small, who said they aren’t important? I am truly grateful for everything and the home I have, the fortune of my home and everything in it. Just being in such a comfortable place that I feel welcome and safe in makes me feel joy. Home will never be just a building to me, as for it is so much more.
