There's No Place Like Home

Home is my safe spot. Home is a place where I won’t get bullied. Home is where my dad tells me to go shoot pucks. Home is my dad saying “let's go to the pond to go skating”. Home is hearing my brother playing video games. Home is a place where I don't have to be embarrassed by the way I look or the way I dress. Home is a place where our friends and family gather. Home is a place where unkind people aren't allowed. Home is a place where we pack for vacation. Home is a place for warm cookies and milk. Home is warm chicken noodle soup when I'm sick. Home is the Christmas tree that goes up in November. Home is a place where traditions are shared. Home is a place where if you are sad you can get a warm hug from your mom or dad. Home is where me and my brother fight, but fighting is like our love for each other. Home is a place where my basement turns into a mini stick tournament. Home is the place where you make treat bags for your birthday party. Home is a place where you get warm hugs when you're sad. There's no place like home.
