The Meaning of Home for Emma

Is the meaning of home having a house to live in, or is it the people around you? The meaning of home for me is the people around me that make me feel at home. First of all, my home is comfy, when i am sound asleep in my bed, I feel warm and cozy under my sheets. I also feel comfy when I am watching a movie on the couch with mom with warm blankets. Secondly, I feel safe when I am at home and my family and I are in the living room playing board games like Sorry, Monopoly and Trouble. Lastly, I feel loved when I play ping pong with my dad because I always miss the ball, and it makes us both laugh lots. I feel loved when my mom says goodnight to me because she always gives me a big bear hug before bed. In conclusion, feeling comfy, safe and loved is just a portion of what I feel when I am home. Home for me is not just having a house to live in, but it is the people around me.
