About My Home
This poem, I will tell,
Is about the home I know so well.
It’s where I laugh, it’s where I cry,
When I’m working, I always try.
It has my bed, where I rest,
I think my home is the best.
It’s where I store my hockey cards,
It’s where I’m in my parent’s arms.
My home is where I’m always loved,
I’m safe from the bottom, sides, and above.
Home is where I write my books,
Home has lots of cozy nooks.
Home is filled with love and health,
There’s lots of food on our shelves.
Home is filled with love and care,
Home has lots of space to share.
Home is big, it is great,
It is where I’m very safe.
It is where I’m not alone,
I really, really love my home.
Habitat for Humanity help build homes,
That is why I’m writing this poem.
