Meaning of Home

My meaning of home does not mean the place I go home to every night. It’s everywhere I feel safe and myself. My favorite place I could go is the Dance Studio! The people are so positive and caring. I’m at dance everyday, when I dance all the bad things go away. Dance is extremely special to me because it was my moms dream to have a little girl who danced. I love that she wanted that, and I love how that's our special thing! I don't know what I would do without it! I also feel at home when I come home from school after a bad day. My parents are always there to make me laugh and tell me it will be okay, that I'm a brave beautiful girl, and I should never doubt that. I am very lucky that I've never moved, I didn’t have to leave my home. I love my home, we have a pink door, and a big tree! When we moved in that tree was super small and it has grown so much since like me! When I was 3, I would listen to music on my ipod with my LOL headphones while I ran laps of my home! I feel so lucky to have a place to call home. I feel everyone should have a place to call home. And when I found out about Habitat for Humanity, I loved the idea to help everybody find a place to call home! -Charlotte Rose
