The difference Habitat for Humanity can create
The difference between a house and a home
Is what I will be explaining in this poem
A house is built with wood and bricks
My home is filled with crazy fun tricks
A house is a building that I sleep in
A home is where I live with my kin
A house is where bricks and sticks cluster
A home is where memories are our home's structure
A house is made with a lot of time
A home is a safe place that is sublime
A house has a basement or second floor
A house has a bunch of love behind each door
A house is made with hard work
A home is where memories lurk
A house has a bunch of rooms
In a home, there's a love that consumes
Now that you know the difference between a house and a home
Don't just stand there like a gnome
Don't just sit there like a grouch
Get up and go on and shout
Thank you Habitat for Humanity for doing what you do best
For giving people a safe place to rest
