♥ What Home Means To Me ♥
They say home is where the heart is,
Home isn’t just a house,
Home isn’t just a place
Home is where my heart is,
Full of laughter,
And memories,
Where friendships are forged,
And loved ones are near,
Home is so much more than a building,
Built with mortar and bricks,
More than four walls and a roof,
Home is a shelter,
Somewhere you feel safe,
Sometimes you taste a meal,
Made with love and care,
Sometimes you feel sombre,
But you know,
You are never alone,
Maybe you have a furry friend,
Who wreaks havoc,
Leaving a muddy trail of paw prints behind,
But they’re always down for a good cuddle,
No matter what,
What is home to me?
Home is joy, and hope,
Warm hugs and smiles,
Home is family,
That’s what home means to me,
