My Caring Home and What it Means to Me

My Caring Home and What it Means to Me Do you like having a roof and walls around you when you eat and sleep? Me too! What is a home? A home is a warm cozy place where I can spend time with my family. For me, my home sounds like a crazy zoo. I hear my parents' loud footsteps thumping as they chase my puppy, Jasmine around. I hear my dogs' claws digging into the couch as my mom yells “No, get off the couch!!!” Home sometimes feels like pain from my puppy biting my arm until I leave the house or until she falls asleep. In my home, you would also hear me and my family making memories that we will never forget. Home looks like me my mom and my sister all laying on my gimped-up dad that twisted a nerve in his back/hip. When I think about my home, my home feels like a place where I can just be me and independent. I feel safe doing the things I love. I am very grateful for my home and everybody in it as well. Yes, even my annoying sister. But still, I am so grateful for everyone that is in it. A wish I have is that everyone has a safe and affordable home and thanks to Habitat for Humanity my wish is coming true faster than ever
