Home, The Story of Who We Are and a Collection of all the People and Things We Love
Home, the story of who we are and a
collection of all the people and things we
love
A house and a home are not the same, a house is a building
with walls and a floor, a home to me means so much more.
It means a comforting place with no stress or fear, it means the
people I love are always near.
My family’s laughter fills the air, though there is nothing in
particular we’re laughing about we can’t stop, and we don’t
care.
Running through sprinklers, fully dressed, rolling down hills
looking a mess.
Tubing and screaming, having so much fun, nothings going
through my mind but, “Oh I love the nice warm sun!”
Kayaking with my grandma and cousins, across the lake are
great big mountains.
Fishing with my grandpa and the smile on his face when I finally
catch one, I hope one day I will be like him, I hope one day I will
catch a ton.
My family is a part of me, a part of who I am, and it does not
matter where we are, to me my family is my home
So, I guess what I am trying to say is, a house and a home are
not the same, a house is a building with walls and a floor, a
home to me means so much more.
Thank you to habitat for humanity for helping families have
safe and accessible homesto live in, laugh in, and make
memories together in, forever.
