What Homes Means to Me
What Home Means to Me!
Home is not just a building.
Home is not a place where you can go bragging about
how luxurious it is or go sulking about how tiny it is.
Home is a place where memories are made, and love
is shared. Home is a building where you can do
anything, and nobody will judge you or stare. Home is
where you can snuggle up on the couch, watching R
rated movies but nothing scares you when you are
cozied up in your parent's warm, safe arms. Home is a
place where the sweet smell of your mama's fresh
chocolate chip cookies spread throughout the house.
Home is a place where laughter and joy fill the air as
your dad tries to act out an octopus on game night.
Home is a place where you will never have a sad
moment without a caring hug. In your home safe and
comfortable times are always grown and
remembered. Stability, love, fun times, and kindness
are essential in a safe home. You and your family
make exciting and joyful memories and your home
keeps them warm, safe, and dry just like it keeps you.
Home is where you will never be alone. Habitat for
Humanity is amazing for creating and running such a
heartfelt and kind program. Thier kind souls help give
independence for many families. I am so grateful to
have a loving, comfortable, safe home and to share it
with my family and kittens. I hope that one day i can
help build a Habitat for Humanity home. Thank you,
Habitat for Humanity!
