Meaning of home

Home feels like my dog jumping on me whenever I come back from school. Home feels like escaping the frosty day by bundling in my toasty pajamas while snuggling with my dog. Home feels like me waking up in the sunshine while birds chirping beautiful melodies. Home feels like unwrapping Christmas presents. Home feels like the security that our roof provides us from the seasons. Home feels like the warmth of my dog’s fur during the cold days. Home looks like your family watching a movie together, home looks like everyone sitting around the dinner table, playing UNO and hearing the laughter of joy. Home looks like decorating the Christmas tree just a few days until Christmas. Home looks like my dog that runs across the halls, grabbing her toys one by one. Home sounds like my dog staring at me whenever I tease her, home sounds like my dads sizzling meals for us in the cold winters. Home sounds like me playing the ukulele as the melodies drift away from room to room, home sounds like playing Mistletoe on the TV while enjoying the snow descending on the white blanket below. Home isn’t just a house, it’s a place where we spend time together and where we grow in and out of. It's where we give our time to each other and we listen to one another. It’s where we make the most memorable memories and that we should cherish them forever.
