What Home Means To Me
Home is where love, memories, and laughter reside. It's where we find happiness, but also experience some sadness, comfort, and some occasional discomfort. and where memories are made. It's where friends and family belong.
A home is a place that you return to and feel safe. It is also a place where you laugh and love and are given a little push and a shove, that's when you know that you are loved.
Home is where you sleep; maybe cook or clean, or both. At home, you can be at ease because you are with family. Home is where you greet and maybe say goodbye. It's where you have fun and relax, and where you can be competitive or work as a team. It's a place to express different emotions and have someone to talk to.
Home is where you feel loved and learn new things every day. It’s the place where you learn to walk, talk, sing, dance, and so much more, all with your family by your side.
Home is where family is, it's a place of warmth and love, where we can truly be ourselves. Home is where you love and are loved unconditionally.
Thank you, Habitat for Humanity, for giving children the opportunity to write and help families across Canada get a home instead of just a house.
