What Makes a home?

What Makes a home? A home is a place where you can feel safe and not feel endangered, a place where you can make memories, a place where you can have fun. Some essentials are a bathroom and kitchen and at least 2 to 4 bedrooms and it must be clean. A person's most personal belongings are kept in a home and it's where a person feels safe and accepted. A home tells a story and expresses a person or family's interests. To create a home requires an emotional connection and sense of belonging, not physical things. A house can be a home, but a home can't be a house. A house is a building that is made for people to live in. It is a "permanent" building that is meant to stay standing. It is not easily packed up and carried away like a tent, or moved like a caravan. If people live in the same house for more than a short stay, then they call it their "home".
