FEELINGS OF HOME
When I wake up in the morning, I hear the ocean
and I see the mountains. I FEEL GRATEFUL
When I get home from school, my dog jumps up
to greet me. I FEEL HAPPY
When I go to bed my parents are always there
to tuck me in. I FEEL SHELTERED
At home I know that I am always safe.
Home would not be home without my dog’s excitement
In the morning, my sister’s argument at noon or
My hamster squealing before bed. I FEEL FINE TO BE ME
All the feelings of home I get cannot possibly fit in a
tiny box called a house.
This Is my HOME
