Home is when I feel happy. Home is when I can spend time with my family talking about our day. Home is when we laugh about a joke,and most of all home is when I feel safe. My home is a happy and joyful place where me and my family like to talk about our day on the couch after dinner. We also talk at dinner while we are eating. Sometimes we tell jokes to each other. That's when we laugh so hard it takes like 10 minutes to stop laughing!!! There is also lots of joy at my home when it's Chinese New Year. We invite friends over to my home. Laughter, joy and love fills my home. My home is also a fun place. If you come to my home any weekend you will see me playing perhaps a round of chess with my twin brother. My family also loves to go outside to play in the front yard. In the winter we make snow forts, we also like having snowball fights, and when we come home we are always covered in snow. Just like two SNOWMAN walking in the Door!!!! In the spring my family buys a birthday cake and decorates my home.That’s because… it’s my birthday!!! We call all our friends over to our house. Laughter, shouting,and screaming fills my home. My home is also a safe place. In my home, I don’t feel embarrassed when I do something wrong. I don’t feel scared. I also feel safe doing things that I usually don’t like to do. When I feel sad my parents always give me a hug so I feel safer.That’s what I call home, not just “my house.” It’s what I call my HOME.
