The Meaning of Home to Me
The Meaning of Home to Me
Leo Newhook
When I’m at home I am thankful I have a home.
When it's school time I just can’t wait to go back to my house for my moms homemade mac and cheese.
It brings everyone to the table.
When I’m at home I love to wrap myself in my silky, smooth comfy blanket.
On one slide it's fluffy, on the other side it's rough, it's the best type of blanket for watching movies.
When I’m home I see my family including my mother, father, brother, and my handsome dog.
I love my dog so much because his fur is super soft including his head and his ears.
When I’m home I feel comfortable because I’m with my family and they don’t tell secrets. My home is a place of trust, honesty, and openness.
Inclusion.
My home is a safe place for me to stay and a safe place where I can talk to my family where no one judges one another.
I feel comfortable opening up to their questions.
