Home is a place where we celebrate and gather we uplift each other rather than hating when problems are encountered A place where we feel safe and flattered Where family and friends come to celebrate each other Home, a place where my sister and I laugh but sometimes fight I don’t fright to be myself in a place like home At home I may cry but I see the bright side Overnight I think how lucky I am to have a place such as home Home isn’t only a place with walls and floors, it’s a place where the heart is safe kept and restored Home is where we are being pushed to excel out of our shell A place where we reflect and be blessed for our day Home, a place where we praise the lord, when we are challenged with a phase Home is a cozy place to stay, where I would hide from a storm Home is more than just a house; it’s filled with laughter and joy with the people we love most Home, a place where I cook with my mom while we chat about our day every night Home, a place where my dad and I gather and watch sports while we support our favorite team Thank you Habitat humanity for giving me this opportunity to participate in this amazing composition and at the same time help someone who needs it the most.
