Home to Me
Home to me is seeing my fluffy dog covered in snow and watching and hearing him bark at snow falling off the roof. I smell my parents making coffee and my dad making eggs in the morning.
My house is like a warm fire, toasty and cozy and just makes me feel happy. In my house I can taste my parents' extremely delicious food, such as tasty steak and pasta.
Home to me is being happy and comfortable, like when I can touch my dog’s fluffy fur or kick five different soccer balls. There’s nothing better than being in my own bed with my own pillow.
Home is a blanket. It can comfort you and keeps you warm. At home, I feel happy, safe, and respected.
So in conclusion, I would like to thank Habitat for Humanity for the opportunity to write about what home feels like to me.
