Home to me is......

Home is sitting by the fireplace and watching movies with my family. Home’s the place where I feel safe and protected. Home is the place where I taste fresh potatoes and vanilla cake batter when my mom bakes. Home is the place where I’m happy and sad and even sometimes mad but at the end of the day home is where I want to stay. Home is snuggling up in a cozy blanket and having a long nap. Home is being with my cat while she purrs on my lap. I also see my dad making nets and putting twine on the twine needle. Home is where I hear my dad listens to K-Rock on the radio and dances around the kitchen. It also sounds like my brother and my mom listening to country music. And I listen to music in my room too. I also hear the TV in the living room playing Gold Rush or the news. Home is like my cozy bed and a roof over my head. Home is like food on the table. Little things like that make home a home. It is like my cat playing with her toys. Home smells like my moms cakes and cupcakes. It also smells like the fresh smell of laundry detergent. I love my home. I couldn't ask for a better one.
