Why a Pillowfort is my Home

My pillowfort protects me like no other I hide there as the shutters slam The walls mutter That pillowfort of curtains and blankets on the wall Draped from the windows, all along the hall When the seagulls call and sea drifts The birds fly small and swift It is a place to go and hide When there is no place to reside
