The Love of a House

The Love of a House Homes are hearts with open doors, Rooms that whisper old-age lore, Bricks and beams in fond embrace, Hold countless dreams in their sacred space. Walls adorned with laughter's mark, Echo joy from dawn ´till dark, Windows, eyes to souls within, Glimpse of life, where love begins. Roofs that kiss the sky so wide, Underneath, our worlds collide, Chimneys puffing sighs of white, Cradling warmth through the cold night. Gardens blooming, scents that please, A symphony led by the breeze, A dance of leaves, a touch of grace, Nature's arms encircle the place. From cottage small to mansion grand, Each tells a tale, a life unplanned, In every nook a memory waits, In every cranny, fate narrates. A sanctuary, hearth and home, Regardless if it's made of stone, It's not the house that makes the tale, But who it shelters, without fail. "To guard the hearts until they wake." For housed within these human nests, Are stories that one never rests, Each chapter etched upon the door, Houses are verses of the lives they store.
