The Blessing of a Home

The Blessing of a Home A place of family and friends For the problems of the day to end Sitting with my family at the table Telling many stories and fables Without it, I’d be sad For all these blessing, I’m glad Where memories are formed And I’ll always be safe and warm Where my heart is whole In the homeland of my soul The place I’m free to weep Where I can rest my head and sleep To me, home is like a friend A warm hug that will never end Free to dream, free to thrive Your life, it shall always drive No matter whether it's big or small As long as it's the home for you, that's all Between four walls, a book of memories A starting place for many wonderful journeys A home is not just four walls and a roof And this poem I offer as proof The Blessings of a Home
