What Does Home Mean To Me

Home is a place where I have loved ones all around me. Home is where I feel safe. Home smells like my mom’s amazing cooking. Home looks like everyone smiling at the table while eating supper together. Home sounds like laughter in the living room. Home tastes like the delicious mouth watering ham and turkey on Easter and Christmas. When I am at home I feel safe from the world. Finally, when I am home I am happy with the smell of my moms cooking filling the house. This is what Home means to me. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for giving people this opportunity to have affordable housing so that they can feel what home is.
