What does home mean to me

What does home mean to me? Home makes me feel fun, sad, joyful, angry, confident, comfortable, and mad. Home can always help you in many different ways, like when you feel sad you can relax at home with no one judging you. When I think of home It reminds me of so many memories that I have made, like surprising my dad with a cat after his work trip. Home makes me feel safe when I'm in the dark and I know I can never be hurt. Home is the feeling of me walking through the front door for the first time in my new house. If home was a scene, mine would be seeing my pretty little cat greet me whenever I walk through the door. If home was a taste, It would taste like my grandma's baking that she delivers once a month. If home was a smell, it would smell like the cookies we make on a cold winter day. If home was a sound I would always hear my parents yelling “movie night” or “game night”. If home is a touch It would be me touching my dad and giving him a hug when he comes home from a big trip. When I'm sick at home my mom will always make me chicken noodle soup while I cuddle up in my bed and watch Christmas movies while I’m all cozy. Home is an outstanding place to have fun and be happy with family, pets and a place to enjoy with your friends. Home is always welcoming to anyone. I love home.
