Meaning of Home

The Meaning of Home What does home mean to you? Home means lots of love things such as, being loved 🖤 and feeling happy. As I neared the kitchen a beautiful smell of home baked cookies hit me. My mom was baking cookies, while my dad went to greet me with a bear hug. I sat in the cozy bean bag chair with my cat. The touch of my cat's fur made me feel safe. I saw my mom appear with a plate of scent drifting cookies and turned on the tv that had my favorite show on. I watched, the beanbag cushions beneath me felt warm and comfortable. I felt tired from a busy day at school, I yawned and stroked my cat's soft fur. I felt happy and loved 🖤 at my house. I went over to my mom's home baked cookies and bit into the sweet crust to taste of my mom's cookie. I looked out the window and see a beautiful sunset in the sky. I knew it would soon be time to go to my cozy bed to sleep and wake up on a brand-new day with a busy day of school again. When it was time to give my parents a goodnight hug and a word of “Good night.” and went to my bed and drifted into a good night's sleep. That is what home means to me. A happy place with a feeling of being loved. 🖤
