Home
Home is holy and safe, keeps me warm and dry when the sky begins to cry. I’m loved, forgiven, held with joy and kept peaceful. It is also a place where we gather as a family to eat our meals, drink our clean water, share memories and talk amongst ourselves. I am grateful for a bed to keep me cozy when the night is cold and the moon shines brightly. To have a home and to live healthily with no hunger or thirst. Toys for me and my sister to play with and yarn to crochet and knit. Paper to paint pictures of beautiful roses and rainbows, boots to keep my feet dry when I go outside to play with my friends. I love to watch movies on boring, snowy days. Staying cozy under blankets cuddled and calm with a treat like fresh popped popcorn with a light drizzle of warm melted butter and caramel sauce.
