The Meaning of Home

Good morning everyone my name is Krithik and I am from grade 6. When I first moved into this beautiful country I lived in a hotel and later moved into my new Home which is my dream Home. For many people Home might be a place just to live and relax but for me this is what Home really means here it goes…. Meaning of Home No matter how big, no matter how small home is where we cherish it all. Home is where we lay and play and learn how to walk and run. Home is a place where love is made, and a place where the memories never fade. So, there is no better place than a Home. Home is where I help my mom, Home is where I read and play with my sister and help my dad. Home is where I can express my feelings and cuddle with my family. Home is where the voice of me and my sister echoes in a battle of rivalry and love too. Home is where I can stay without any inhibitions and hang out happily with my family. If home were a smell, I would only smell my mom’s well-cooked food. If Home were a sight, I would only see laughter and joy. If Home was a taste, I would only taste the food that I tried to cook, but it would be burnt. If home was a sense of listening, I would only listen to my father’s positive comments to lead me through my life’s ups and downs. Home is where me and my family watch tv, Home is where I study and play. Overall, even if my home was small all that matters is love and memories that me and my family make together. Home is where we worship God and celebrate many religious things. Home is where we light Diyas and live happily with a peaceful life. Home is a safe haven and a comfort zone. A place to live with our families and pets and enjoy with friends. Home is a place to build memories as well as a way to build future wealth. Home is a place where we can truly just be ourselves. A home is more than a house, more than a building where I stay. A home is more than brick walls and what you see when you walk through the doorway. A home is a place of love, a place of caring too, a place where everyone should feel welcome even strangers like you. So, I’m grateful that I have a Home with a great dad, a cute sister and a supermom to always stand by my side. So, God thank you for the greatest family in the world with a lovely home. Thank You
