Home is not a place, it’s a feeling. Home is love! Home is love with friends and family at Christmas dinner. Home is learning how to play a sport with dad when you are a beginner. Home is hot chocolate and watching your favorite movie by the fire, that is warm. Home is a place where you can go to escape a scary storm. Home smells like mom's favorite perfume when we hug. Home is being cuddled under a blankie, nice and snug. Home is snuggling with a cute newborn. Home is a caring family to help you mourn. Home is family traditions and making new traditions every year. Home is a family road trip and seeing a cool deer. Home is a warm comfy, cozy blankie on a chilly day. Home is friends and family on New Year’s Eve yelling, “Yay!” Home is where you create memories with your loved ones. Home is your family who loves you tons! Home is your beautiful birthday cake. Home is hugs from family when you wake. Home is love and comfort when you are upset. Home is you asking for your brother for help and he says, “You bet”. To me, home is not just four walls and a roof, it is much more! So, thank you so much Habitat for Humanity for helping build homes for people who need them. Home is not a place, it’s a feeling.
