What Home Means To Me

A house is a building with floors, walls and windows, but a home is where I feel safe and loved by my family. Home is where I watch movies on Friday night with my brother. Home is where I play baseball in the backyard with my dad and brother. Home is where my brother and I play hockey and basketball together. Home is where I play videos with my brother on a storm day. Home is where my brother and I go sledding on cold, snowy days. It is where I can have warm, home cooked meals and eat with my family at the dinner table. Home is where me and my brother can play hockey and basketball together. Home is also where me and my brother go sledding on cold snowy days. Home is a place where I play fetch with Penny on a cold snowy day and where my dog watches me get on the bus each morning. It’s where my dog snuggles up with me at night. I am so happy to have a home with a loving family.
