Meaning of Home

Home means that fresh cookies are baked in the oven. My mom laughs at the funny things I say. The fire is burning. The Christmas tree is Twinkling in the living room. But that is only some parts of the year. Home means going, getting a snack, and sitting on the couch. Home means listening to my sister's music while she sings in the shower. Home means going in to get into bed and my dog's opening the door to come say goodnight. Home means listening to music while I clean my room. Home holds so many memories close to me. Home is so important because some people don't have one. I love having a place to be when the world feels small.
