The Meaning of Home
What does home mean to me? When I am home, I am loved and hugged. When I go home my dog barks at the window waiting for me to get home. It makes me joyful when I see my family and feel them too. Home means to me when I see my soccer team, I get there 45 minutes early and we have lots of fun.
Home is when I see my family waiting at the dinner table for me with smiles on our faces and happiness in our hearts. Home is when I see my dogs. In fact, my six dogs and one hamster. When I walk in the door, they all come over in a big stampede, jump on me and give me lots of love and kisses. Home is when I go hunting with my dad and mom. Home means to me ice skating and playing hockey. What I feel is soft blankets when I am making forts in the living room with my brother.
Home means to me when I spend time together with my grandma, and we bake cookies. Home is when I go fishing, prawning, and crabbing with my grandpa and grandma. Home is not walls and a roof, but it is who I am with. Home is when I am playing in the snow with my brother and building snow forts and having snowball fights. Home means no matter how challenging and how hard life is you still have people who believe in you. What home means to me is to be surrounded by other people.
Home is when I am surrounded by my friends, my family, and my loved ones. Home is when I am at Camp Homewood. Riding my horse, Malakai. I like Feeding him, grooming him, and making treats for him.
Home is when I am spending time together with my mom. It makes me joyful when my mom and I are at the movies. It makes me happy when painting rocks. Home means having time alone and Lising to music writhing stories and books. Home is when I am going to the fishing derby with my grandma and grandpa in Browns Bay. I like getting crispy rock cod burgers! In 2019 we won the fishing derby!
