I'm Grateful for My Home
In the kitchen, we make memories together by cooking and cleaning. It leads into the dining room where we eat and admire our work. I’m grateful for my kitchen.
In my bedroom, I sleep and think about random things in life. My bedroom is also a place where I store and change into some of the many clothes that I’m blessed with. I’m grateful for my bedroom.
In the basement, I hang out. Whether it be with my family, friends, or even with both. But sometimes, I just chill, by myself. I’m grateful for my basement.
In my front yard, I play, chill and eat. But sometimes it’s not the best thing to do. There are problems sometimes. But that won’t stop us from having a nice time together outside. I’m grateful for my front yard.
The laundry room is a place where I wash all my clothes that I’m given, then I fold them. The laundry room doesn’t have many happy memories that I enjoy or like, but that doesn’t mean that it’s a bad place. I am grateful for a laundry room.
The living room is a place where most things are done. Even though we have a dining room, we eat here sometimes. Even though we have a basement, we hangout here. It’s where all the parties are. I am grateful for a living room.
In my home, we go through many different things together, whether they be good, bad or maybe even ordinary. But most importantly, I have a family to be with and to share memories with.
I am grateful for a physical house… But I am most grateful for my family, who make our house feel like home.
