Home
Home isn’t just four walls and a roof, but a much more detailed feeling of love and joy, like when you are at a special place and feel safe.
Home is my community. It makes me feel joy, it fills me with laughter from all my friends and family, and I can learn and grow while being loved and safe. This is my home.
Your home might be your house, it might be a place to take a walk in the woods, or maybe it's the playgrounds at school where you can spend time with your friends and family together.
Home is also my house. It to me isn’t just a building, but something that contains memories from times when I was happy, sad, or feeling other things. It’s the smell of my freshly cooked chicken in the oven, ready to be eaten. It’s the dinner table where me and my family talk about things that have happened. This is my home.
Home is my neighbourhood. People greet me every morning on my way to my bus stop, and I feel welcome inside of this small community.
I hope that this will help people get a home like me, and that they can be loved as well.
