A House of Home
Home is where everything is held tightly into a bundle and where your life begins or ends. Home is where all the stress, worries, and pain that has been tangled into a knot can unravel. Home is where you feel comfortable and you can do anything without other people judging you. Home is where you feel safe. Home is where you can always count on family to give you a wave of nostalgia of happy memories and remind you of the good old times when we were younger and would sneak to the kitchen in the middle of the night for a cookie. Home is a concept that always changes once. Home can be a hug from someone special or a place where you made good memories. A house is not the same as a home. A house is an inanimate structure complete with rigid brick walls and a solid roof. A home is a feeling. A home is where you label memories with emotions and one label is always there: Home. Home is where you settle down with or without a family. Every new destination you visit places an invisible thumbtack there that is almost impossible to find. The thumbtack can be somewhere as simple as your living room where you and your family would always get together for a board game or it can be as extravagant as eating a fancy dinner. Home is a string that can see those thumbtacks and loops around them no matter how far or how small. Home can always find it. Once the string loops around that thumbtack, it will take a piece of the place so that even if you're not there physically, you can always find it emotionally.
