My Home: A Place Of Delight
Home is my place of comfort and acceptance.
It is the roof over my head that keeps me warm during the night.
Where I live with my family, all safe and secure.
Where I eat, read, laugh, and play.
The bonds and the fun are made within, learning right from wrong, and good from bad.
Home is a place to stay there all day, and is a place that never has a hint of dismay.
Where I play and rouse with my siblings, jumping, running, back and forth.
Where, I have the feel of a comforting floor under my feet.
That soft lively chatter of my family and friends.
Playing the board games with cousins, those dozens of times a day.
Many games of Poker, many games of PayDay.
They fill me with joy, a joy of delight.
My home is where I wake up to the lovely baked cookies and porridge in a pot.
It is where I am greeted after a long day of school, where memories unfold, and the most happy ones are not untold.
When dusk finally comes, every night, I lie down, to thank my home and family for peace and unconditional love.
