My Home

A home to me is a safe place to be loved. Right when I walk through the door when my dog comes running after me and my family says, “How was your day.” Home is when your brother takes a 20 minute shower with music blasting out of the bathroom, while I am on a call with my friends. Home is a place where you need a key to get in so you have a safe warm cozy loving place to live. Home is a chain of love that never ends. Home is where you make lots of memories for you to keep forever and to look at when you get older. There is no place like home, nothing can replace it. Home is when I have sleepovers with my sister when she comes home from university and tells me how much she misses me. Home is the neighborhood where I play and jump around with my friends that are like family to me. I hear the birds chirping and see dogs running around. Home is a big part of me. I am so grateful that I have a roof over my head, running water and the best loving family in the world.
