Home

Home is where the heart is what many people say, Does that mean you don’t have a heart if you have no where to stay, When people ask what does home mean to you, Some people overlook that is a place where you love and are loved too, Yes, a home consists of four walls and a roof, But it also consists of a family and here is my proof, Every child needs to love and be loved, Home is just a place to be with their beloved, So a roof keeps the snow off our heads, But somewhere outside there are kids without beds, Sometime you can have a house, But it’s already home to a mouse, Sometime a house is on the road, Where a car or a camper has to carry your load, Sometime money is low, Nowhere to get away from the winter snow, Having a good home is a delight, To get away from the dark of the night, Sometimes all you have to do is show some empathy, Then maybe sometime soon there will be a home for everybody.
