Meaning of Home

If somebody ever asked me… “Hey Sidra what do you think of when I say what’s home to you?” I would say Home is a place where you feel comfortable. It’s the place where you can be yourself. It’s another place where you can relax and be safe. Home is the space where you can truly be yourself. All of your favorite things are there. You can be funny, you can have a bad day, you can do crazy things like sing in the shower. It’s a place where no one can judge you. It’s a place where no matter what happens you know that there's always someone to be there for you. Home is where we go to recharge. After a long day, after a tough week, after a difficult exam, after a frustrating argument, we all need somewhere where we can relax and be ourselves. Home is that place. Home is the place when I walk into my house I smell the fresh baked cookies my mom made for my family. Home also is a place where you can feel that you are okay and that you don’t need to be nervous of anything because you should know that there will be someone who loves and takes care of you no matter what or how hard it takes. You're with people you love including having friends and family near you. Home is a place where we grow. Everyone has a has a favorite childhood toy they might have, a special pillow or blanket. Home is the place where we make memories with our family, with our pets. Home is the place where we learn, where we fail, And most of all where we succeed.
