When it comes to homes, Canada makes one of the best homes. Why? Well I'm going to share my experience of how Canada became home to my family and maybe it can become yours too! In this essay, I will be talking about why Canada is a home to Immigrants, Refugees and Me! Immigrants from all over the world come to new parts of the world and one destination is Canada. People will move here for different reasons. My parents came from China to Canada. They chose this place because of many different things. Canada has amazing Landscapes and parks such as Banff National park, Jasper National park, Niagara falls and many more! The weather here is Very warm in the summer and very cold in the winter. When I say cold I mean it's as cold as the antarctica! Refugees come to Canada to resettle a life from danger or fear. Canada provides stability and income for those who are eligible and cannot pay for basic necessities. Example last year Feb 24 2022 Russia invaded Ukraine with drones and missiles. So Refugees from Ukraine had to travel to many places for safety and stability and one of them was Canada. In grade 4, our school gave donations to Ukraine Refugees! Now finally I'll tell you what makes Canada my home. I was born here so I'm not an immigrant or refugee, but Canada is amazing. I don't think I could find a better place to live! But life is a little bit hard at times since my whole family is in China so at times like Thanksgiving dinner I can only eat with my own family and during christmas it's fun but I can't celebrate with my grandparents. One more thing about why Canada is my home is that how Canada can become your home is by memories, memories are key to life. If we didn't have memories, how would we live? For example, the first time moving or first time reading a book in your favorite cushion, that's a memory! So that's why I really think you should consider Canada the next time you travel or look for a place to live! That's all, bye!
