The true definition of “Home”

What is the definition of home? Some people may think home as where you eat, sleep or take a shower. But when you think about it for a long time, you realize that there is way more to home than just a house. It is the place where you feel wanted, where you feel like you belong. You may also be thinking that what is the difference between home and house. Well, a house is simply a shelter, the place you live. A home. is a place which you never want to leave. In this text, I will be explaining the meaning of “home” and why it is so important to us. As I mentioned before, home is a place where you feel like you belong, a place you never want to leave. For example, your home could be among certain people, certain places etc,. But there is one that is the true definition to you as home. For instance, I love books, so I feel that my home is among them. But my real home is among my friends and my family as I know they are always here for me when I need them the most. Having a home is so major to us as it is the place you feel joyful and you feel like there is nothing that could ruin your emotions. The main reason being among my friends and my family is my home is because I never have a feeling of great depression when I am with them. Another example is in Harry Potter. The main character, Harry felt like his home was at Hogwarts as he felt like he belonged there. To summarize, home is the ultimate place that you feel like you belong, and it is the most important place in your like as it is the place you feel the most joyful. Having a home is the best thing to have in life.
