Where I Come From

We used to visit our uncles and aunts at night When I did not go to school I would watch my mom and dad cook like chefs Going on motorcycles with my uncle Our parents telling us stories about when they were little kids. My siblings and I cuddling in one bed like fluffy teddy bears My dad going in the middle of the night to get me medicine We sit around the TV watching funny cartoons A cotton candy machine comes into our neighbourhood everyday Running to our parents for money The smell of mom's homemade soup when I'm sick My mom cleans our house everyday like a cleaning machine Going on a large airplane that looks like a giant bird Calling a house...home
