What Home means to Me

Home is where on Fridays we all cuddle up and watch a movie together. The sound of popcorn popping in the microwave and the buttery goodness of a smell in the air. On snowy cold days, we cuddle up in a nice warm blanket and drink hot chocolate with marshmallows and make rice crispy treats to eat. The taste of the crunchy rice crispys and the melty marshmallows is the best feeling ever. And on hot summer days, we sit outside in the backyard and play golf while we have mango and orange flavoured popsicles and cold lemonade. My home country is called Pakistan. The food you’ll have in Pakistan is the best food you will ever taste. It’s spicy and hot and full of flavours. The best Pakistani food here in Canada is the food that my grandmother makes for us. She makes it with spices, meat, veggies and lot’s of love. My favourite Pakistani food is called Haleem. I love it because it is spicy and has yummy meat in it. When it’s winter, me and my little sister like to play in the snow and sled. My favourite winter sport is skiing because it’s very fun and it is a good workout. To conclude, that’s what home means to me. I hope lots gets donated. Thank you for listening.
