My Favourite Word to Say

Home. What a fun word to say, just a one-syllable word and easy to learn. Home is one of my favourite words to say. Why? Because home is where I belong, home is where everyone should be. Whenever I wake up in the morning, I take a long whiff of air to smell the sweet scent of pancakes with extra maple syrup on top, and a hint of happiness inside. As I eat my breakfast, I stare out the window, where there is a great view of many trees and on those trees, stood chirping birds singing songs to me. To start my morning, I love to go on my front porch and admire the beautiful nature. If it was a weekend I would either go hiking or to my friends house. If it was a school day, I would listen with my ears all open to my teacher. I would smile and laugh at recess when my friends do silly things. At the end of the day, I would think back from how my day started, and to how it ended. But you know what? Some people can’t afford pancakes, some people can’t afford a front porch to start their day, and worst of all, some people don't have a home! Everyone deserves a beautiful life with a home.
