What is Home?
Home is a place where you feel loved and where you think you belong. If you live in a house with your family but they don’t love you and you feel like you don’t belong, it is a house not a home. If you live on the streets with your family but they do love you and you feel like they love you, that is home. Home can be anywhere. If you feel loved in Walmart, that is home, if you feel loved in a car that is home. A house cannot be anywhere. A house cannot be in a car and it cannot be in Walmart. Those are the differences between a house and a home. Your house can be your home because if you live in a house where you are loved and feel like you belong, that is your home. Those are similarities between a house and a home. Homes can change, if you used to feel loved in an apartment but now you don’t feel loved there and now you feel loved on a hill that is your new home. You can have many homes, you can feel loved underground, the streets, a car, a hill, a store and many more. That’s what I think home means.
